My Name is Bernhard Budiono.

I'm 27 and from Australia, and I like to think myself as a digital entrepreneur. 

​

I have a passion for technology and engineering, with a current focus on systems implementation and the use of technology in an ever-changing digital world. With more than 5 years of practical engineering experience in site-based roles, I've been fortunate to go through some amazing experiences.

​

I remember after I finished High School, I looked back on those 5 years and regretted not doing more with my life. I coasted on potential and never put in my best work. I told myself I would go to University and change that...

​

After I finished University, I looked back on those 4 years and I again regretted not doing more during my degree. I coasted through those years and did not achieve much. I told myself from there that I would do whatever I can to make sure I did not look back and have any more regrets.

​

Since then? I can say wholeheartedly, that looking back over the past 5 years, I have little to no regrets. Everyday has been a grind, but I've kept telling myself to never give up. What have I got to show for it now? Here are some of my accomplishments to date:

• Completed my Masters in Business Administration (MBA)

• Completed my Graduate Diploma in Mining Engineering

• Completed my Masters in Project Management (Engineering)

• Completed my Certificate III and IV in Fitness

• Completed my Certificate II in Public Safety

• Began my Bachelor of Arts, Majoring in Arabic and International Relations

• Began my Bachelor of Environmental Science/​Bachelor of Laws

• Graduated the Royal Military College Duntroon as a First Lieutenant in the Royal Australian Infantry Corps;

  • Graduated First in Class in Fitness

  • Graduated First in Class in Military History

Amongst those achievements I have also done the following:

​

• Summited Mt. Kilimanjaro in 2014;

• Marched Coast to Coast over 270km in Papua New Guinea, from Gona to Port Moresby to raise money for Legacy in 2014;

• Reached Mt. Everest Camp in 2015;

• Volunteered and worked in Africa and Nepal for various NGOs

Today, most of my work is focused on client engagement, project controls, consulting and providing technical advice. This gives me the opportunity to travel and see a wide variety of projects across multiple industries – insight that helps us improve the construction industry as a whole. It also gives me the opportunity to interact with field teams and project managers so all stakeholders benefit. I have also spoken as a guest speaker in various private and commercial gatherings and in various capacities from both commercial to motivational/public speaking.

However, I have always harboured hidden passions for a variety of things. I have always desired to take stunning photographs, capturing emotions as much as interactions. My inspiration comes from real locations, people, and places that I have been so lucky to see in my lifetime. I’m thrilled to share every photo and every journey I embark on with you.
